Photo+Text: A Glimpse of Eternity

Sagada
The above quote echoes my thoughts as I marveled at the beauty of the mountains before me. In particular, I was amazed at how from where I stood, the mountains were higher than the clouds. The clouds too looked wispy, lending a magical look to it.

Photo taken in Sagada using an iPod Touch (5th generation).  Mira, my Canon Powershot G12 conked out on me on the first day of this trip, so I had to resort to mobile photography.  This was taken early in the morning and the original photo had some noise in it.  Thankfully, there are apps now like Mextures that in a way can fix “noisy” photos.  Text added using Phonto.

Phoneography Challenge: Sunrise at Kiltepan

I love sunrises and sunsets by the beach, but it is only during this trip that I realized that a sunrise high up the mountains is a magnificent spectacle that everyone should see in this lifetime.

Kiltepan Sunrise

Sunrise at Kiltepan is definitely one of the most beautiful sights I’ve set my eyes on. It was amazing to see the cloud-blanketed mountains against a backdrop of hues of violet blue and pink, and it was an even more amazing experience to be higher than the clouds.  There was a feeling of reverence as I took in the captivating views before me and marveled at God’s handiwork.
