I actually don’t know this plant’s name but my Google search revealed it to be Common Purslane or Portulaca oleracea. Interestingly, purslane is considered a weed in the United States but is eaten as a leaf vegetable in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Mexico.
This photo was taken in June last year when my department had a teambuilding in Bluewater Maribago. I remember finding a patch of these flowers near their restaurant and even when my friends were asking me to hurry up for lunch, I took my sweet time taking this photo despite the sweltering heat of the sun.
Even the song that came on shuffle described what I feel..,
