Cebu: Tightrope Coffee (F. Cabahug Branch)

I’ve been hearing about this coffee shop for some time now, so when we were in Cebu City for an errand last week, we decided to visit their F. Cabahug Branch.

I ordered a Himalayan Latte, which was good. I felt the saltiness had balanced the bitter taste of coffee, the sweetness of sugar, and the creaminess of milk.

My coffee was perfect for their renowned Basque Burnt Cheesecake.

Some people said it was expensive at P 230 per slice, but I thought it was worth the price because of the huge serving and quality. It’s one of the best cheesecakes I had.

I also ordered their Tightrope Breakfast. I initially wanted their Corned Beef, but it was not available.

The Tightrope Breakfast was good, albeit it was too heavy for me. The sausage was good, though I would have liked a crunchier bacon. My favorite was hashbrowns.

My friend ordered their Parmesan Truffle Fries, and it was also good.

Service-wise, the staff was accommodating and efficient. The place was packed, but he managed our orders well.

Of course, I also came to love this place because they’re pet-friendly. Here’s an unsmiling Hobbes as he’s disappointed they couldn’t serve him a puppacino. Heh!

I highly recommend this coffee shop. I liked it so much I even plan to visit their other branches.

Tightrope coffee F. Cabahug Branch is located in M. L. Quezon Avenue, F. Cabahug St., Cebu City. For more information, visit their Instagram page.
