Last summer, my friends and I trekked Osmeña Peak, Cebu’s highest point and despite my aching limbs and sore muscles, I made it a point to wake up at 5:30 the following morning to catch the sunrise.

Later, the mostly dark blue dawn sky  started getting a tinge of yellow and orange colors.

Despite the morning chill, I enjoyed watching the sky as the tinge of yellow and orange turned darker.

Until the colors lightened to give way to cottony white clouds and light blue sky.
