I was supposed to go biking today, but I got sidetracked by this stunning skyline.

I watched, mesmerized by the colors, pointedly ignoring my phone’s notifications as I sat on the lagoon’s edge and dangled my feet on the waters. Beep beep, Viber notified.  Another new message from a Facebook page I manage also popped up.  I ignored them and just kept staring at the unfolding sunrise. So beautiful.

I normally spend my waking hours checking my emails and messages, so it was nice to spend this dawn just enjoying the sights.

I wasn’t satisfied with just watching, so I went for a swim. I then took this photo.

Just look at the defined lines caused by the ripples that formed when I waded into the waters.

This was my parting shot as I then left my phone on the lounger while I enjoyed a 20-minute morning early morning swim.
