I’ve always associated Easter with hope thus this quote.

Remember the movie The Passion of the Christ? I cried buckets when I watched it. At some points, I couldn’t even focus on what’s onscreen because I felt Jesus was suffering too much – He who is the sinless one bore our sins so that we may be saved.

Thankfully, Jesus’ story didn’t end on the cross. On the third day, God raised Him from the dead. It was the greatest of surprises, one which is a glimpse of what awaits those who follow Jesus.

Hope lives and its because Jesus trusted God the Father.
